If you want to make it big in network marketing, you have to learn to stop selling your business opportunity or products. You must understand how to market instead of selling. When you market, you do not make every effort to convince your prospects to buy from you, instead you build enthusiasm after you have gained the trust of your prospect as you introduce a product to him based on his needs.
On the Internet, marketing is building relationships with all your prospects using email follow ups scheduled periodically. While doing this, the networker builds the interest of the prospect and alert him to the needs that he will present a product to fulfill later. The effect is you put the prospect in a frenzy state of mind and make him desire your product long before you recommend it.
Most accomplished network marketers of our time have realized this and have used it to build mammoth sized network downlines with the aid of the Internet. They do this by developing marketing funnels that are Internet based and use it as a means to recruit people while building a relationship simultaneously.
When you learn how to market effectively with the Internet, you will get a lot of patronage and repeat businesses from your prospects as they will be happy that you truly care for their welfare when you recommend a product that helps them solve their problems.
It is noteworthy to say that I see shy people who have learned to market use the Internet to build very successful network marketing business while their mates who have not realized the Internet and who keep selling their MLM by trying to prospect to every Tom, Dick and Harry within 3 feet, as well as make cold calls as their companies advised.
Unfortunately, that is the old school way of doing network marketing. It doesn’t work any longer and hence no longer effective. But not realizing it is bad for those network marketers who are still using it because of ignorance and hence are not making any headway.
If you understand from this very information the value of marketing instead of selling and also of using the Internet to build a successful network marketing business, then you would have left the massive 99 percent of network marketers who are not using it to their advantage in this great and rewarding industry.
So, if you just understand the principle of marketing and how using that principle on the Internet to grow your network marketing business, what is stopping you from using it at once?
